A relaxing method which releases tension whilst increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, improving circulation and improving flexibility.
This modality uses long effleurage strokes, as well as kneading petrissage and tapotement to warm up the muscles and realign their fibres. Sometimes other techniques such as frictions can be used, however this is not as deep as the sports massage.
